The Operations Center Assistant will work on a large project team supporting the Army Shared Services Center (Army SSC) organization located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Army SSC provides capability support services to all Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics and financial systems. Capability support includes system sustainment, sustainment modernization, and enhancement activities such as system design, development, testing, and deployment. Specific tasks include functional analysis, help desk, cybersecurity, quality assurance, configuration management, database administration, portal and support tool management, SAP BASIS support, technical services, interface/middleware maintenance, and system monitoring.


The Operations Center Assistant will perform program administration duties to include executive level administrative support. This includes creating and overseeing all administrative processes for the organization.


  • Secret or Interim DoD Secret Clearance
  • 3 years relevant experience:
  • Capable of performing executive administrative duties for Division Chief and Deputy
  • Experience with Outlook Calendar meetings; generating correspondence and making travel arrangements
  • Experience with planning and coordinating high level meetings and events
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Ability to create and oversee all administrative processes
  • Experience in drafting presentations/correspondence for Leadership review
  • Experience with scheduling conference rooms and maintaining and assigning conference numbers
  • Experience with creation and maintenance of organization charts
  • Experience with accounting for and ordering supplies for specific needs/situations
  • Familiarity with working with a facilities building manager
  • Experience with events planning and coordination
  • Able to assist in the Onboarding or Off-boarding of resources as needed
