Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Web Developer to support an intelligence community customer.  This role will sit on a client site in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for front- and back-end development of web applications related to data visualization.  The role will work closely with customers and SMEs to develop technical requirements and realize them as functional data products in support of customer mission.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • This position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Understanding of and experience with data visualization
  • Experience with front-end aesthetic design (color theory and design concepts) for web presence and back-end development
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML V.5, JDBC, Apache Tomcat
  • Experience with PL/SQL and connecting web front-end interfaces to live data
  • Experience with D3 and other visualization tools
  • Experience with documentation (Git and Github)
  • Experience integrating Python into web applications
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration and coordination skills
  • Ability to analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Show initiative and offer ideas for new products and improvements to existing interfaces
  • Actively keep appraised of industry technological enhancements and changes

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Java software development, including J2EE, Web Services SOAP/REST, SML, JSON, Unit testing, and Agile Development Process.
  • Ability to diagnose, isolate, explain, and expediently resolve complex problems pertaining to application development
  • Ability to document system schematics and application dependencies
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases
  • Familiarity with Tableau, AWS, and Bootstrap
  • Familiarity with ETL experience with large data sets
