Candidate will ensure continued program expertise in ERP life cycle management joining a team of acquisition experts who will provide on-going support for the maintenance, upgrade, and modernization of the Army ERP Enterprise.  Work location is client site, Fort Belvoir, VA


  • Provide senior-level acquisition strategy support to the military (O-6 / Colonel), federal (GS-15), and contractor support team.
  • Advise in the management of all phases of the acquisition lifecycle for ERP upgrades and modifications to include development, planning, and staffing of program milestones and Defense Acquisition Review Boards.
  • Assist in the development and update of ERP acquisition documentation such as the lifecycle management plans and program management agreements.
  • Provide advisory subject matter expertise for the update and delivery of:
    • Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries
    • Monthly Acquisition Reports
    • All Selected Acquisition Report inputs to Congress
    • Acquisition Program Baselines for ACAT programs
    • Acquisition Strategy Reports
    • Acquisition Milestone Documentation Reviews
    • Audit reports to DoDIG, Army Audit Agency, and Government Audit Office
    • Senior leadership Boards, Steering Groups, and Process Reviews.


Required Qualifications 

  • Master's degree required
  • Minimum 20 years’ acquisition management experience and progressively higher levels as a former Army military or civilian employee
  • 10 years’ experience with Business Mission Area or similar system in development and modernization/sustainment phase
  • Significant previous experience providing acquisition support to an Army ERP Program Office
  • Excellent computer applications skills, especially with MS Office products, e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint MS Outlook, MS Project, and SharePoint
  • DAWIA Level III in program management required
  • DAWIA Level III in information technology required
  • PMP certification required
  • Significant previous experience providing acquisition support to an Army ERP Program Office
  • Must be familiar with FAR and acquisition regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, organizational and workload management, interpersonal and team building skills
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
