LMI is seeking a skilled Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Assistant at our office in Redstone Arsenal, AL. The candidate must be self-directed, adaptable, and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior Army leaders on a daily basis.  Position requires a DoD Secret clearance.

Candidate must have experience providing support in a budgetary or financial field. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide customer administrative support including communications for Army PMO activities and customer/stakeholder relations. Must have outstanding written and oral communications skills.
  • Assist with preparing cost analyses in accordance with government policies, reviewing financial forecasts, and developing corrective action plans.
  • Preparation of foreign military sales (FMS) case data and financial information using government databases. Experience with government systems e.g. DSAMS, GFEBS, IMPART, SOMARDS, CISIL and Share Point is preferred.
  • Experienced with presentation techniques and excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Development of financial reports for periodic financial status review meetings and Power Point presentations for a government and international audience.
  • Assist with providing logistical and financial status of FMS cases and reports.
  • Assist with the FMS case financial execution, including establishment of funds, allocation and transfer of funding through various Army databases.  
  • Assist with closing case lines determined to be logistically/service complete.
  • Utilize various data base systems to present a monthly financial report.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports and submit financial request.


  • High School diploma
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a budgetary or financial environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting the US Army is preferred.
  • Experience supporting foreign military sales (FMS) programs is desired.
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • LMI will only consider applicants with current Secret security clearance.
