LMI, a strategic consulting organization focused on providing solutions to the federal government, is seeking a Functional/Subject Matter Expert to support Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Office of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) with experience relating to analysis of weapons system cost data and analysis on DoD major systems or programs including weapons systems; operations, logistics, and sustainment cost analysis. Cross service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, OSD, Joint) experience is a plus.
The mission of OSD-CAPE is to provide the Department of Defense (DoD) with timely, insightful and unbiased analysis on resource allocation and cost estimation problems to deliver the optimum portfolio of military capabilities through efficient and effective use of each taxpayer dollar. This effort will oversee development of a data platform, Enterprise Visibility and Management of Operating and Support Costs (EVAMOSC), that will address known issues with operations and support cost data completeness, accuracy, granularity, and reporting frequency.
A minimum SECRET clearance.
MS degree from an accredited institution in either Business, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
20 plus years supporting the DoD
At least 5 of the past 10 years leading analysis activities within a military service, OSD, or the Joint Staff level.
Experience with US Army financial and logistic processes
Experience with operating in NIPR environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Top Secret/SCI clearance
Experience with weapons system cost data
Experience with DoD business, financial management, and logistics, and maintenance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Cross service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, OSD, Joint) experience
