LMI is seeking a Senior SAP MM/Master Data Analyst to support master data activities related to Defense Business Systems. Work location is client site, Fort Belvoir, VA

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, functional, and business support for data management, data integrity and data accuracy of Army Defense Business Systems implementations in both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Resolve data management issues and customer incidents related to ERP & Non-ERP implementations to include data migration and cutover activities
  • Use appropriate predictive analysis tools/techniques to improve material availability and reliability, increase operational availability rates and reduce operational/sustainment costs
  • Support projects which may integrate data and functionality from non-SAP application systems
  • Assess the effectiveness of designated business/program operations, processes, projects and/or systems, particularly in relation to data management, data integrity and accuracy
  • Provide ERP implementation best practice expertise across a portfolio of systems (Army Enterprise Material Master solution, the Army Centralized Business Analytics solution, Process Integration support, Enterprise Master Data Challenge System, and the Customer and Vendor System solution)
  • Participate in enterprise design change process, facilitating workshops to gather and refine enterprise business requirements, and develop courses of action for implementation
  • Support the design activities and implementation of Army serialized item management initiatives
  • Support unique item tracking activities related to the identification, tracking, and management of designated components / items to include radiological items
  • Identify and synchronize serialized materials across the Army enterprise
  • Identify and implement corrective measures for data or process errors based on audit results and process evaluations
  • Support master data related Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and other meetings/workshops
  • Support test events as needed
  • Educate and build consensus to shape policy with cross functional DoD stakeholders to standardize common data element structures
  • Provide timely and accurate information to senior leaders
  • Up to 25% travel expected

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, systems engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the development, implementation, and management of a SAP solutions
  • Experience managing and combining multiple data sources (including financial, logistics, and human resources) and tracking errors in data automation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (Visio and PowerPoint)
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree
  • SAP Basis Administrator or SAP MM certification
  • Familiarity with DoD unique identification initiatives such as IUID
  • Experience in integrating SAP Materials Management or master data solutions across other DOD ERPs/SAP solutions
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or related certifications
  • Familiarity with Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Defense Property and Accountability System (DPAS), Radiation Testing and Tracking System (RATTS), and Army Defense Business Systems such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-Army)
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense and Army property/inventory accountability and management regulations/policies/instructions such as DoDI 5000.64, AR 735-5, AR 700-145 etc
