Responsibilities

This position will directly report to the CISO and will support day-to-day security analysis and delivery of organziation wide security initiatives. security analyiss will include activities such as monitoring of vulnerability mangement, DLP,  or SIEM. Stratgic intiates include maintaing DFARS compiance , conduct security architecture assessments and provide security operations support.  

Qualifications

  • 4+ or more years of work experience in IT Security and support or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, vulnerability management, incident response and identity and access management
  • Participates with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
  • Configures and validates secure systems, tests security products/systems to detect computer and information security weakness
  • Working Knowledge of operating systems and security applications
  • Working knowledge of basic network protocols, tools, and infrastructure
  • Experience developing, documenting and maintaining security procedures
  • Strong customer focus with ability to manage customer expectations and experience and build long-term relationships
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles including vendors and IT-business personnel
  • Experience with configuring Firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability management, HIDS, Multi-Factor Authentication, Anti-Virus, DLP, and/or other Information Security Tools
  • Monitor and analyze unusual or suspicious activity and make recommendations for resolution
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security systems, procedures and security diagrams
  • Assist in company guidance to meet requirements of NIST 800-171 and CMMC controls.
  • Serve on projects, initiatives or work groups as assigned which may include; Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Risk and Control Assessment, Security Architecture reviews
  • Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all audience levels
  • Ability to Collaborate with infrastructure, Ops, and developer team in preparation or updating of security-related documentation.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity IT related field
  • Scripting experience: python, ansible, puppet, chef, cloud formation
  • Experience in cloud security(AWS or Azure)
  • Experience applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to Information Systems with the objective of obtaining an ATO.
  • ability to obtain clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
  • Relevant industry or vendor certifications: CISSP,CISM, LPT,CEH, AWS solutions architect, AWS security, CISCO, Palo Alto, CCNA
