LMI is seeking a Financial Support Team Lead with experience in leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and who has Department of Defense Test and Evaluation and/or Test Range Oversight Experience.

The team lead supports the Financial Support Team of the Test Resource and Management Center. The position will lead LMI team in the delivery of services to our clients, while ensuring quality, and managing cost, schedule, and performance and be report to the LMI Program Manager. The candidate should be familiar with Department of Defense test and evaluation sites and TRMC processes for technical and management oversight.

  • Leading team of professionals providing engineering, technical, administrative, analytical, and financial management support to the TRMC Director and the Principal Deputy Director, TRMC
  • Responsible for the effective management of funds and personnel and is accountable for the quality and timely delivery of all contractual items
  • Serves as focal point of contact with client regarding program activities
  • Ensures that all required resources including manpower, production standards, computer time, and facilities are available for program implementation
  • Manages program consisting of multiple projects including project identification, design, development and delivery
  • Maintains the development and execution of business opportunities based on broad, general guidance
  • Responsible for marketing new technology and follow-on business acquisitions
  • Confers with project manager to provide technical advice and to assist with problem resolution
  • Provide engineering, technical, administrative, and analytical support to the Deputy Director, Range Oversight Division for data calls, guides, briefings, reports, white papers, articles, and similar products and services as directed
  • Provide engineering, technical, administrative, and analytical support to the Chief Financial Officer including comprehensive financial analysis and management support for TRMC organizational budget development, execution and reporting
  • Ensure requirements are met including quality of product and services, cost control, timeliness and business relations
  • Ensure an adequate quality assurance program and process are in place and strictly adhered to for all products and services
  • Responsible for business relationships with all other stakeholders and partners
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations, including all documentation requirements
  • Track and review documents and guidance for improvement
  • Prepare briefing charts, scheduled meetings, kept records and record minutes, prepared after-action reports in support of technical reviews and investment reviews
  • Work with a diverse set of stakeholders in geographically disbursed areas
  • Support business development and bid and proposal efforts by acting as the overall solution architect for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 12 years of general experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Experience working in DOD PPBE at the Service HQ or OSD level.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate well with leadership, peers, and staff at all levels to facilitate excellent teamwork
  • Active Secret clearance required; Active TS with SCI eligibility is a plus
