LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Acquisition Manager (Chemical and Biological Defense) to support a contract within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical and professional expertise to government staff on all matters related to CBRN defense S&T and acquisitions oversight
• Serve as a subject matter expert on S&T projects and acquisition programs
• Align efforts with national and departmental guidance and policies
• Represent OSD interests in Defense Acquisition System, Joint Capability Integration and Development System, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution forums.
• Reviewing and validating S&T and acquisition documentation (life cycle cost estimates, acquisition plans, S&T plans)
• Supporting resource allocation planning, congressional justifications, and acquisition planning.
• Possess the ability to work in teams and independently.
• Collect and analyze requirements and acquisition documents
• Identify trends and develop recommendations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• An active TS SCI clearance
• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years experience.
• Possess and apply expert knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, analytical methods and techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by OSD.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Master’s degree or higher in a physical or life science.
• DAWIA certification in acquisition functional area.
• Five (5) or more years of experience with chemical, biological, or radiological issues.
• Experience with one or more of the components of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program or with an interagency equivalent.
