LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Program Analyst (Acquisition) (Chemical and Biological Defense) to support a contract within the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate efforts from a staff of 30+ personnel working on different teams to ensure each has cognizance of ongoing activities and assist others when appropriate.
  • Candidate must possess an understanding of DoD Defense Acquisition System policies and procedures (Acquisition, Requirements, Funding) and assist with the integration and implementation of senior leadership guidance and policies.
  • Interact professionally with senior- and staff-level representatives from the Joint Staff, Defense Agencies, Military Services, Combatant Commands, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Joint Staff, JPEO CBRN, Cross-Functional Teams, and other stakeholders as needed to support the OSD (CBRND) guidance.
  • Analyze, plan, review, and critique the CBRND S&T investment portfolio.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance
  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of experience with senior staff (Joint & Service level), requirements, and acquisition.
  • Program Management Level II DAWIA certification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle management to include requirements development (JCIDS), budgeting (PPBES), and defense acquisition processes and policies (DoD 5000).
  • Experience with strategic communications and coordination to include supporting Congressional engagements, strategic relations (Joint, inter-agency and international), and developing stakeholder management plans.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Master’s degree or higher in a physical or life science.
  • Program Management Level III DAWIA certification.
  • 10 years of experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle management to include requirements development (JCIDS), budgeting (PPBES), and defense acquisition processes and policies (DoD 5000).
  • Five or more years of experience with chemical, biological, or radiological issues.
  • Experience with one or more of the components of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program or with an inter-agency equivalent.
