Our vision is to power a future-ready, customer centered government through digital analytics.  As a Vice President of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AA&AI) sub-service line, you'll leverage your deep knowledge and expertise in data-driven decision-making, cutting-edge analytics methodologies, and AI technologies to drive transformative solutions for our clients. You will not only expand our current analytics capabilities but will help architect new strategies and applications for a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Business– Contribute to the growth of the AA&AI Sub-Service Line by defining the strategic direction and driving collaborative initiatives with Markets and other sub-services lines in meeting financial targets.  Execute on top opportunities, manage costs, and achieve aggressive financial targets. 
  • Build Your Organization– Build a team and succession plan to enable an organization that has no single points of failure and can effectively meet the demands of our customer engagement, proposal and pursuit efforts in a scalable and sustainable way. Define a path to build scalable capacity around each of your capability areas both within your service line while also enabling the organization to support you through the training of the business development team, supporting HR in the development of Data Science specific talent acquisition strategies and etc. 
  • Innovation / Venture Programs– Define, build the business case for, and oversee various R&D or Venture investment programs to develop the necessary capabilities required for LMI to deliver differentiated and impactful capabilities for our client’s most pressing challenges. Build LMI’s capabilities in the sub-service line and develop innovative offerings that align with customers’ strategy and missions. 
  • People Champion and Career Steward– Ensure team members deliver capabilities of the sub-service line. Has responsibility for hiring, training, evaluating, and promoting staff members assigned to sub-service line, as well as facilitating team member deployment across multi-market customer engagements.

Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of technical and management experience in Data Science, analytics, AI/ML, and strategy. 
  • Strong P&L financial management experience. Specifically, within the federal marketplace. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience successfully leading large (100 – 500+ million dollar) federal proposal and capture efforts 
  • Capable of working closely with business and product teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business initiatives and are of high quality.
  • Have a sophisticated executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at all levels of client organizations.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing new offerings, revitalizing the capabilities and skills, and innovating to enhance the sub-service line portfolio of offerings.
  • Strong ability and experience getting things done in a matrixed organization (e.g., successful collaboration across division/groups). 
  • Experience in hiring, leading, managing, and developing high performing and dynamic teams to deliver on program requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong cultural fit and value alignment with LMI. 
  • Relevant M&A due diligence and integration experience preferred.
  • Top Secret Clearance preferred. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
