The project management office (PMO) Logistics Management Specialist will maintain property records, determine property accountability requirements, and manage property shipments for a U.S. Army client to support an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modernization program, the Enterprise Business Systems – Convergence (EBS-C). 

 

Work location is client site, Fort Belvoir, VA. Note: Telework is acceptable with on-site work approximately three days a week or as needed at client offices at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Advises government personal on property accountability procedures for program and product offices.
  • Responsible for functional expertise in the areas of logistic, supply management, property book management, movement control, plan, coordinate, monitor, and execute logistics preparation, sustainment for all operations.
  • Maintains property records, hand receipts and sub hand receipts for government issued property to assigned government and civilian contractors.
  • Assists with review of project management office (PMO) purchase requests as needed to determine property accountability requirements and reconcile and maintain GSA credit card receipts.
  • Assists as the receiving officer for shipments to and from the PM office.
  • Performs technical supply management functions related to property management and accountability.
  • Responsible for issuing, transferring, and all turn-ins using the document register for expendable and non-expendable items.
  • Manages facility furnishing and telephone service assignments.
  • Serves as facilities coordinator with the leased property owner and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently and as a team, excellent written and oral communications skills, excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Assist and serve as needed as the Emergency Management coordinator.
  • Assist and serve as needed as the Continuity of Operations point of contact.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience with Army property, logistics, and supply responsibilities.
  • Must have an active SECRET clearance
  • 3+ years of property accountability and management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with GCSS-Army Unit Supply system.
  • 5-8 years of experience in logistics support and/or government property management and knowledge of Army Property Accountability regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • MS 365/Excel experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Desired:

  • Completion of Army supply chain and logistics courses.
