Overview

LMI currently has an opportunity for a Senior Data Architect to support an Intelligence Community customer in the McLean area. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data systems, data management, and data workflow modernization. This role involves analyzing and optimizing the flow of data from diverse sources and enhancing data processes.

Responsibilities

This Senior Data Architect will drive the modernization of data workflows, improve data management, and enhance the use of data for intelligence analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data systems, data management, and data workflow modernization. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Understand and map the interconnected systems of systems within the organization.
  • Analyze data flows between systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess current data workflows related to intelligence analysis.
  • Design and implement modernized workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and advanced data processing techniques where applicable.
  • Recommend new data sources and technologies to enhance data collection and utilization.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to keep data workflows up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies.
  • Document data management processes, system integrations, and workflow improvements.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and data workflows to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, data management, and workflow modernization.
  • Proven track record of optimizing data workflows and integrating complex systems.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software.Strong understanding of systems integration and data interoperability.
  • Experience with automation tools and techniques for data workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about systems and data flows.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret large and complex datasets.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in the intelligence or defense sector is highly desirable.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Target salary range: $128,000 - $228,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
