Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) Strategy. The successful candidate will manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with the project objectives and timeline as outlined in the governments statement of objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the MIS Strategy using an agile process.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables in accordance with the governments statement of objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, including deliverables, reporting, and financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with government policies, regulations, procedures including 508 compliance.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Lead and manage the project team, including subcontractors and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to MIS, public benefits, public health, and government programs.

Qualifications

  • PMP certification required.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-25 years of experience in managing information technology projects, government contracts, and staff.
  • Experience with FNS WIC or similar programs is a plus.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project management best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HCD, Scrum, and Agile, certifications is a plus.
