Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Technical Task Lead/Deputy PM for a hybrid position supporting a client at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. A successful LMI Technical Task Lead/Deputy PM demonstrates competency in project oversight, data governance, data engineering, technical writing, critical thinking, and relationship management while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Providing oversight to team members and project deliverables.  
  • Briefing Army Data Platform (ADP) Product Manager on a regular basis regarding team execution and program operations. 
  • Establishing processes and oversight to ensure effective project delivery.  
  • Assisting users of Army Vantage by scoping requests for logistics data ingest and export to and from the platform, including the provision of technical demonstrations of the platform’s analytical capabilities. 
  • Integrating with the Army’s Office of the Chief Data and Analytics Officer to configure and implement platform and user governance processes in alignment with the Army Data Plan.  
  • Supporting the Army Vantage Program’s Operations team with ad hoc taskings from the Product Manager, as needed.   
  • Supporting ADP’s Acquisition and Technical teams in the development and delivery of the Army’s next generation data platform.  
  • Supporting the LMI Program Manager through various administrative and development tasks, such as the monthly creation, editing, and submission of deliverables to the Government. 

Qualifications

MINIMUM: 

  • Undergraduate degree required. Degree in business analytics, information technology, professional writing, logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred.  
  • This position requires five (5) or more years of work experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability leading and supporting interdisciplinary teams of data operations, logistics, engineering, and networking analysts.  
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written, in briefing Government leadership up to the Tier-II Senior Executive Service level.  
  • Self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, with the ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage the impact of shifting priorities. 
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the SECRET level. You must be a US citizen. 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience supporting an enterprise data analytics platform, including working knowledge of data interface frameworks, supporting technologies, and logistics processes.  
  • Strong quantitative skills to support ad hoc analysis, including, but not limited to, the ability to use spreadsheets, database, and project management software. =
  • Experience writing, executing, and updating basic SQL and Python code to extract, transform, and load data. 
  • Leading SAFe training and certification. 
  • Project Management Professional training and certification.
