Responsibilities

A successful Software Deployment Manager will be highly skilled in agile software delivery, communication, product planning, and deployment. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, possess the management skills to hold people accountable to quality expectations and timelines, and respond quickly to evolving client needs. Background as an agile product owner and scrum master is highly desirable. The Software Deployment Manager must demonstrate competency in leadership, strategic thinking, relationship management, multitasking, schedule management, and delivery excellence, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

  • Lead the product deployment team, including coordinating and tracking all fielding activities and communications with customers.
  • Coordinate with current and future user groups to formally prepare for fielding throughout the lifecycle, i.e. deployment, training, sustainment, vendor management, formal documentation across multiple programs.
  • Organize and lead meetings, prepare agendas, executive summaries, and action items, etc.
  • Serve as the technical representative on deployment project teams, execute risk planning efforts and implement process improvements for future deployment efforts.
  • Foster positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterparts

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 10 years consulting experience
  • Minimum 5 years of software product deployment management
  • Experience in the areas of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies
  • Technically adept and business-focused to interface across technical disciplines and senior leadership
  • Product management or related product lifecycle experience
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a “client first” attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to successful outcomes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of Product management best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and exhibit flexibility based on changing client needs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Management of complex software product deployments in multiple cloud environments (AWS, Google, and/or GCP)
  • Agile Product Owner experience
  • Agile / Scaled Agile certification(s)
  • Certified Product Management Professional (PMP)
