LMI is seeking a skilled Space Communications Engineer SME in Colorado Springs, CO or Chantilly, VA. The Network Communications Engineer is the subject matter expert (SME) on all matters relating to communication systems and ensures as accurate portrayal of all aspects of space and ground communication systems (e.g., capabilities, development, testing, operations, processing) in technical discussions, and in the development and execution of studies, analyses, algorithms, models, simulations, and other technical products and efforts tasked. This role involves both engineering tasks and strategic planning to improve the national communications infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure systems across all platforms. Occasional travel is required. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
