LMI is seeking a team of Cloud developers to support the U.S. Transportation Command, at Scott AFB, IL. In this role you will collaborate with software architects, developers, and engineers to contribute to the development of a secure cloud architecture. This position requires a solid foundation in cloud technologies, tools and grow in an agile development environment.

Perform AWS system administration, ensuring smooth operation and timely issue resolution for AWS services and infrastructure.
Implement and maintain Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) processes, including protocols like SAML, OAuth, and Federated Identities, to support secure access.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot AWS environments, including AWS GovCloud, to meet government cloud security requirements.
Utilize the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) for efficient management of AWS resources and services.
Develop and maintain scripts or code to automate tasks and optimize AWS workflows.
Follow best practices and security standards for AWS deployments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, effectively communicating technical information and project updates.
Stay informed about the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices, applying new knowledge to improve cloud solutions and processes.
Level 2 developer requires 2+ years of related professional experience.
Level 3 developer requires 3+ years of related professional experience.
Must hold an active Secret clearance granted by the US Government/DoD.
Must hold an active CompTIA Security+ or a comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification.
Must hold an active AWS-specific certification.
Strong understanding of AWS, including the Command Line Interface (CLI), best practices, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with AWS GovCloud or other Government Cloud environments.
Experience with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) concepts and processes, such as SAML, OAuth, and Federated Identities.
Demonstrated experience in developing AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise cloud environments.
Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining APIs, including defining requirements and securing/authenticating APIs.
Strong skills in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby) and creating API documentation.
Experience with MS SQL and MySQL, including data modeling, concurrency, and stored procedure development/tuning.
Basic knowledge of networking, including VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks independently, meet deadlines, and work well with minimal supervision.
Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
