LMI is seeking an Acquisition Systems Engineer to support a federal program management office (PMO) charged with planning, acquiring, and managing the deployment and operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe. We are seeking energetic self-starters who are focused on practical and efficient solutions delivered by an interdisciplinary, collaborative team. This position will provide full-time support to the client’s program management office, located in Washington, D.C. Some travel within the United States may be required.
This individual will work with other engineers and subject matter experts to support the client’s program management office (PMO), which is responsible for developing programs of records (POR) and the acquisition and deployment of technologies and systems to protect the nation’s borders.
From program planning and market research to trade studies, requirements definition, engineering analysis, decision support, and program execution assistance, these individuals will apply sound systems engineering principles and ensure that DHS and CBP directives, policies, and processes are followed, and the client’s objectives are met.

Target salary range: $100,300 - $176,528
