Overview

LMI is seeking a Lead Technical Advisor (SAP S4HANA SME) for a program supporting a US Navy client. The Lead Technical Advisor will focus on developing technical architectures and provide subject matter expertise for a SAP S4HANA modernization effort.


This role requires an active SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

As Lead technical Advisor, you will play a critical role that requires a unique combination of technical acumen, leadership, and subject matter expertise.

In this challenging and multi-faceted role, you will be responsible for working with government Technical Directors across multiple portfolios to develop technical infrastructure supporting the SAP S4HANA modernization effort.

 

Leadership: Lead and mentor a group of talented consultants with varying levels of experience and background; shape an abstract problem into a solvable and tractable problem for the team; lead customer engagement, discovery and framing; and participate in corporate initiatives as needed/requested. You will develop product strategy, vision, roadmaps, and prioritize feature development based on customer demands. All this while being agile and generating buy-in for product vision with both senior leadership and customer stakeholders.

 

Technical Expertise: Deep experience across cloud computing, software development, DevOps, front-end development, API architecture, and pushing applications to production.

 

Technical Project Delivery: Lead the delivery of high-quality technical deliverables, on time and within budget, while supporting key client relationships as a technical subject matter expert to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10-years of professional technical experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with a technical/STEM focus
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the architecting, developing, deploying, and use of SAP S4HANA
  • Demonstrated experience pushing modern software applications into production
  • Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications for an enterprise level system
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience architecting and developing software/infrastructure for scalable, secure, and distributed systems on Hybrid or Multi-cloud environments
  • Experience using GitLab for CI/CD and automated deployments.
  • Demonstrated leadership acumen and success leading small to mid-size technology teams focused on innovative solution delivery
  • Thorough understanding of US Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Security requirements to include Zero-Trust, FISMA, and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Experience with DoD system integration including the development of external system interfaces
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to interface and drive client engagement and stakeholder management
  • Active SECRET Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP-SECRET clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related technical field
  • Experience with Navy ERP systems
  • Knowledge of DoD network operations
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification

Target salary range: $114,348 - $203,812
