LMI is seeking a skilled Budget Analyst to support our federal customer in Arlington, VA. Successful candidates demonstrate competency in project execution, critical thinking, and customer service while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position will require an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform all programming, planning, budget, and execution actions, including preparation of military interdepartmental purchase requests, purchase requests, and inter-agency agreements, as well as processing obligations after award.
• Prepare status reports on obligations and outstanding commitments, spend plans and related briefings, and budget exhibits.
• Coordinate execution and tracking of funds for acquisition workforce training.
• Enter data into government resource management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• This position will require an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US Citizen. 
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• At least 5 years of work experience, preferably with Department of Defense
• Experience working with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Portal and the Treasury G-Invoicing tool
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Self-directed, detail-oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities

Target salary range: $75,000 - $130,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
