Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Acquisition Policy Analyst to support our federal customer in Arlington, VA. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

The position will support a Department of Defense headquarters office with the implementation of policies, strategies, and business enterprise initiatives related to defense acquisition and contracting. 

 

Responsibilities may include: 

  • Assisting with the development, testing, and implementation of processes and policies related to the Integrated Award Environment initiative;
  • Supporting new requirements arising from the Adminsitration's policy agenda, including actions that come via Executive Orders;
  • Drafting, editing, coordinating and providing configuration management support for reports, memorandums of record, briefings or other deliverables in support of requirements and Congressional mandates;
  • Developing and delivering briefings as required to provide the results of analysis performed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 10 years or more of work experience in acquisition, contracting, policy, logistics, or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience interpreting and applying DoD and other federal government acquisition policies, regulations and guidance
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.

Targeted Salary Range: $118,000 - $200,000
