LMI is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to support supply chain analysis, data-driven logistics solutions, and cross-functional collaboration to inform user-centered application development and road-mapping for a Department of Defense supply chain risk program.

• Conduct supply chain problem decompositions 
• Work directly with Logistics and Supply Chain clients, prospective clients, and other enterprise stakeholders to define, document and analyze supply chain challenges 
• Pair logistics concepts with data analysis to respond to client requests and develop rapid prototypes that can be used for further ad-hoc analysis 
• Actively engage users to identify workflows or needs that feed a product roadmap and advocate for prioritization 
• Advise clients and internal teams on how data can be obtained, transformed, and analyzed to meet needs 
• Assist with day-to-day planning and road-mapping to achieve application development milestones to address user needs and general project requirements 
• Engage in a cross-functional collaboration, including technical work, with application developers, data engineers, data scientists, and other logistics subject matter experts to ensure supply chain needs are effectively developed 

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field such as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, National Security Studies, Computer Science or a related discipline
• At least three years of relevant work experience in a core supply chain discipline
• Firm understanding of supply operations at retail or wholesale level, including distribution processes and vendor engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with supply chain and technology development
• Active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred)
• Located in the National Capital Region to support in-person classified work 

Targeted Salary Range: $98,000 - $130,000
