LMI is seeking a skilled Data Management Analyst for a remote position. Successful Data Management Analysts demonstrate competency in project execution, leadership, critical thinking, relationship management, and solving complex challenges while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

Providing direct support to OSD Energy, this Data Management Analyst will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data management policies and processes to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management strategies with business objectives and project goals.
  • Monitor and analyze data systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring data quality and accuracy across all platforms.
  • Facilitate data governance initiatives to promote best practices and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide training and support to team members on data management tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Generate and present detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations to drive data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning data strategies to support business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold ethical standards and maintain data confidentiality and security.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance in a timely manner is required.

Desired Skills

  • Masters degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in data management or data governance (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP)).
  • Experience with cloud-based data management solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their applications in data management.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques for data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead data-related projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience with data privacy laws, such as GDPR or CCPA, and their impact on data management practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Target salary range: $82,986 - $141,154

 

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
