Responsibilities

LMI is seeking a skilled GenAI Adoption Lead to support a customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. A successful GenAI Adoption Lead will demonstrate competency in project execution, leadership, critical thinking, relationship management, and solving complex challenges while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This role requires creativity, a willingness to experiment, and an understanding of how AI can support system modernization, agile development, and improve the ability for teammates to complete their technical tasks. The ideal candidate is also adept at seeing the bigger picture and driving innovative solutions through the use of Generative AI to rethink and optimize system implementations.

 

Providing direct support to the Army Enterprise Business Systems - Convergence (EBS-C) team, this GenAI Adoption Lead will:

 

· Serve as the primary resource for the team on the use of Generative AI tools with its system modernization and implementation.

· Experiment with and quickly learn Generative AI applications and tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

· Educate and train team members on best practices and innovative approaches for integrating Generative AI with EBS-C activities and system development.

· Design and implement innovative AI-driven solutions to optimize system performance, data processing, and user experience.

· Develop and maintain documentation and guides for the use of Generative AI.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of AI technologies.

· Continuously monitor the latest trends and advancements in Generative AI and assess their potential applications within the EBS-C environments.

· Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on AI adoption and implementation within the team.

· Facilitate agile engagement with the mission to align AI initiatives with business requirements and project goals.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies, standards, and guidelines, collaborating with cybersecurity resources to document controls and support accreditation documentation.

· Report on progress, identify and mitigate risks, and manage dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.

 

This role demands a high level of creativity, a forward-thinking mindset, and the ability to push the boundaries of traditional large system and ERP implementations through the innovative application of Generative AI.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

· Currently active Secret security clearance or higher.

· BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

· 5+ years of experience in large system implementations, with a focus on integrating advanced technologies.

· Demonstrated experience with Generative AI tools and applications.

· Understanding of the key features of GenAI architectures including model selection, reasoning models, context length, attention, RAG, MCP, and prompt engineering. Understanding of how changing these key features change how the systems operate, what tasks they can be used for, and how they would change the capabilities of the system and how they would need to be prompted.

· Knowledge of system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability.

· Demonstrated experience teaching others on their team new and emerging technologies. Demonstated ability to explain complex technologies to employees from other fields.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to prioritize and complete tasks based on guidance from senior leadership.

· High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with senior executives from Government and industry.

 

Desired Skills:

· Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

· Prior experience with GenAI applications in federal or defense environments.

· Experience building or using RAG-based GenAI systems.

· Experience with MCP or agentic systems.

· Familiarity with Army Enterprise Business Systems and the specific requirements for military SAP implementations.

· Experience with agile development methodologies and working within Agile teams.

· Understanding of DOD Cybersecurity requirements and vulnerability management concepts.

· Certification in SAP or related technologies.

 

Target salary range: $131,986 - $189,154
