Overview

LMI is seeking a Training Specialist to support the development and execution of a compliance program at a national agency. The Training Specialist will be part of a team responsible for driving the modernization of compliance operations through innovative and sustainable solutions. They will support multiple phases of the project, ensuring training needs are covered through the design and delivery of role-based, scenario-driven training. The Training Specialist must have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into engaging, effective, and accessible training materials for all employees. The successful Training Specialist is a skilled in instructional design, an exceptional communicator, and a champion for fostering a culture of compliance from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs analysis to assess the organization’s compliance training needs and identify required learning outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive training curricula for the new compliance program, including foundational training for all employees and specialized modules for specific departments or roles, such as inspectors, supervisors, and field officers.
  • Create and produce all training materials, including presentations, user guides, online modules, job aids, and knowledge transfer resources.
  • Plan, schedule, and deliver training sessions, using a variety of formats such as in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and e-learning courses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback to measure comprehension and impact.
  • Manage and maintain user tracking, completion reporting, and assessment scoring.
  • Refine training programs based on feedback and performance metrics
  • Coordinate with agency leadership to ensure training content and delivery align with organizational strategy and operational needs.
  • Promote and embed a strong culture of compliance through communications and engagements with the client.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design and training delivery
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance (includes fingerprinting, background check, and drug screening).
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
  • Adult learning principles expertise; ADDIE or similar instructional design methodology experience
  • Experience with virtual and in-person training delivery platforms
  • Knowledge of federal compliance training requirements and assessment methodologies

 

Desired Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for a corporate compliance or ethics function
  • CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) or a certification in instructional design

The target salary range for this position is- $67907.61 - $116102.61
