Overview

LMI is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support a customer in the Baltimore-Washington area. This role requires designing data architectures and developing data pipelines and advanced analytics and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong reputation as a leader in their field and be recognized by key stakeholders in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and mission areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic data analytics and reporting solutions that align with the client's mission and objectives. 
  • Design and implement complex data architectures, integrating various enterprise systems. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality data analytics and reporting systems. 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in data analytics and reporting, offering strategic advice and guidance to business leadership. 
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards, maintaining data integrity and security. 
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the data analytics capabilities of the client staff. 
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing data architectures, recommending improvements and optimizations. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • 10 years of experience as a data solutions/data architect a focus on high volume data pipelines. 
  • Strong technical skills in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale projects. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the client. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree in a related field. 
  • Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms and tools.
  • Experience with MCP Server integration 
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. 
  • Experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) API development
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. 
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security practices. 

 

Target salary range: $160,000 - 200,000
