Overview

LMI is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Software Developer to support the BUILDER™ Sustainment Management System (SMS) to join our team. This role will be integral to the operation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of BUILDER SMS, a web-based software application used to manage the condition assessment and lifecycle planning of facility assets across federal facilities within the Washington, DC Metropolitan area (WMA) on behalf of our government clients. This position provides subject matter expertise in a variety of facility condition assessor services.

Current TS clearance required; candidate must be willing to work in the NCR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on BUILDER SMS functionality, configuration, and architecture
  • Support the development, integration, customization, and maintenance of the BUILDER application
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support data migration, validation, and import/export operations using BUILDER
  • Assist in training, documentation, and user support
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support related to BUILDER operations and integration

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Provide subject matter expertise on BUILDER SMS functionality, configuration, and architecture
  • Support the development, integration, customization, and maintenance of the BUILDER application
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support data migration, validation, and import/export operations using BUILDER
  • Assist in training, documentation, and user support
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support related to BUILDER operations and integration

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
  • Experience with other SMS tools (e.g., ROOFER, RAILER, PAVER)
  • Experience with MAXIMO or similar facilities Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications
  • Knowledge of Federal Real Property Management standards and UFC guidelines
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and RMF compliance
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or IWMS tools
  • Familiarity with GIS integration and spatial data tools (e.g., ArcGIS)
  • Prior experience working directly with USACE or other DoD agencies
