Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Acquisition Analyst to support our customer remotely. Successful candiates demonstrate competency in project execution, critical thinking, relationship management, and business growth while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position is located in Dayton, OH and will require a combination of onsite and telework.

Responsibilities

The position will support an acquisition office in the Department of Defense by providing management of the sole source peer review process. Responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and coordinating peer review meetings;
  • Drafting, editing, coordinating and providing configuration management support for technical summaries, oversight reports, memorandums of record, briefings or other deliverables in support of requirements and Congressional mandates;
  • Developing and delivering briefings as required to provide the results of analysis performed;
  • Maintaining a current and accurate internal documentation library;
  • Serving as liaison for DoD components and assisting with adherence to regulatory guidelines;
  • Supporting acquisition office with other key tasks.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5 years or more of government and/or consulting experience, preferably defense-related
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of defense contracting and acquisitions
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the SECRET level. You must be a US citizen.
