Overview

LMI is seeking an Operations and Performance Management specialist to support our federal customer in Arlington, Virginia. The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the efficient and effective execution of executive directives and strategic management initiatives within the A&S, Directorate, Business Operations, Executive Operations office. This position manages and tracks Executive Orders, Presidential Actions, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. The Analyst serves as a key liaison with the A&S components and Directorate of Administration and Management (DA&M) and utilizes various data management tools, including CATMS, PULSE dashboards and SharePoint, to maintain accurate records and facilitate informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Executive Order and Presidential Action Management:

  • Tracking and Monitoring: Maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all applicable Executive Orders (EOs) and Presidential Actions (PAs), meticulously monitoring progress against established timelines and milestones.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with relevant DoD offices and agencies to ensure compliance with EO/PA requirements. This includes facilitating communication, gathering necessary data, and resolving potential roadblocks.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular status reports on EO/PA implementation for senior leadership. Maintain accurate and accessible documentation related to all EOs/PAs, including directives, guidance, and progress updates.
  • Dissemination of Information: Disseminate information regarding new or updated EOs/PAs to relevant stakeholders within the organization, ensuring timely awareness and understanding of requirements. 

Performance Management Support:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and validate performance data related to key organizational objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • PULSE Dashboard Management: Utilize PULSE dashboards to monitor performance trends, identify areas of concern, and provide actionable insights to leadership. This includes data entry, customization of dashboards, and generation of reports.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in the preparation of performance reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting guidelines. 

Data Management and Systems Administration:

  • PULSE Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently input data into the PULSE system, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • SharePoint Administration: Manage and maintain SharePoint sites related to executive operations, including document libraries, calendars, and task lists. Ensure site content is organized, up-to-date, and accessible to authorized users.
  • Forms and Publications Management: Manage and maintain a repository of DoD forms and publications relevant to A&S, ensuring availability and currency.
  • CATMS Tasking Management: Utilize CATMS for task creation, assignment, tracking, and reporting to ensure accountability and effective management of tasks related to DBO/Executive Operations. 

Liaison and Coordination:

  • Directorate of Administration and Management (DA&M) Liaison: Serve as a point of contact with DA&M for matters related to administrative policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Inter-Office Coordination: Coordinate with other DoD offices and agencies to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, program managers, and administrative staff. 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of executive operations processes.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on the use of PULSE, SharePoint, and other relevant tools and systems.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with DoD policies and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college/university.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies.
  • Executive level support experience, experience within DoD and other federal agencies is preferable.
  • Experience in leading and providing technical guidance and direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.
  • Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.
  • Must have outstanding customer service abilities to initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects.

Target salary range: $115,000 - $118,000

 

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
