Responsibilities

The position will support a Department of Defense policy office with the implementation of policies, strategies, and initiatives related to defense pricing and contracting, including management of the peer review process.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Planning and coordinating peer review meetings;
  • Monitoring progress of performance metrics against goals;
  • Drafting, editing, coordinating and providing configuration management support for technical summaries, oversight reports, memorandums of record, briefings or other deliverables in support of requirements and Congressional mandates;
  • Developing and delivering executive-level briefings as required to provide the results of analysis performed;
  • Maintaining a current and accurate internal documentation library;
  • Supporting office with other key tasks, including travel coordination, meeting scheduling, and correspondence.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5 years or more of government and/or consulting experience, preferably defense-related
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of defense contracting and acquisitions
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.
