LMI seeks a Business Process Analyst to provide high-level business process analysis and executive support to a government customer in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within financial operations.
  • Support budget operations, including the formulation, execution, and analysis of the budget.
  • Manage and track taskers, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Handle sensitive program information with the utmost discretion.
  • Act as an executive assistant by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and making travel arrangements.
  • Develop, proofread, and enhance presentations for executive-level audiences.
  • Prepare executive summaries and other correspondence for Tier 2 SES leadership.
  • Anticipate future needs and proactively manage schedule and priorities.
  • Manage all incoming/outgoing correspondence and suspense actions, as required.
  • Align the programs of direct report GS-15s with the Director's strategic objectives.
  • Manage and oversee taskers assigned to GS-15s to ensure consistent and timely reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Director and other staff members, facilitating clear communication and workflow.
  • Perform editing, document formatting, and proofreading.
  • Provide assistance with meeting logistics and preparing briefings.
  • Give clear oral and written explanations of assigned tasks, relevant issues, analytic approach, and results.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting DoD or other Federal agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial operations, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and the capacity to anticipate the needs of the Director.
  • Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in Excel is required for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
  • Power BI: Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and creating interactive dashboards is highly desirable.
  • DoD Financial Management Systems: Familiarity with financial management systems and procedures within the Department of Defense is a plus.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Prior experience providing administrative support to senior DoD leadership is desired.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks according to senior staff requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.

Targeted Salary Range: $108,000 - $113,000
