Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled and dynamic Change and Adoption Management Lead to join a high performing team supporting a government healthcare client. This role will drive successful implementation, integration, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption. The selected candidate will be instrumental in creating strategies that foster long-term engagement, while addressing adoption barriers and ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs. This position may be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve a robust adoption plan that combines Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles, outreach initiatives, and training activities to onboard users effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, operational, and policy-focused stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and build trust in the platform’s capabilities.
  • Continuously engage stakeholders to ensure diverse perspectives are incorporated into implementation strategies, fostering alignment and buy-in.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate barriers to adoption, including user resistance, gaps in understanding, or operational inefficiencies.
  • Implement targeted training programs for technical and non-technical users to ensure clear understanding and utilization of platform features.
  • Support development, deployment, and refinement of communication plans tailored to stakeholders across the system.
  • Support development and delivery of essential documentation, such as user guides, FAQs, onboarding resources, and troubleshooting support artifacts.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to stakeholders, ensuring technical compatibility and seamless integration.
  • Monitor integration progress and resolve issues collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Leverage analytic tools to evaluate adoption gaps, training efficacy, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Establish iterative feedback loops and use insights to refine strategies, training materials, and technical guidance over time.
  • Propose and execute recommendations for sustainable stakeholder engagement and improved usability.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for user engagement, stakeholder satisfaction, and adoption success.
  • Deliver periodic reports on platform performance, stakeholder inputs, and implementation progress.
  • Leverage GenAI tools to enhance content development, improve efficiency in stakeholder engagement tasks, and drive data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in change management, adoption strategies, or stakeholder engagement related to technical or healthcare platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., change management, organizational development, policy, healthcare management, IT).
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives that impact both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and their application for user adoption.
  • Technical acumen to understand platform integrations and communicate implementation needs to stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Data-driven approach to problem-solving, with experience in leveraging analytics tools to assess adoption and usage gaps.
  • Collaborative mindset to lead cross-functional teams and maintain alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desired:

  • Experience working with federal or state government clients, particularly in healthcare initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile development or iterative stakeholder-centered processes.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP).
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

 

Target Salary Range: $101,000 - $174,000
