Overview

LMI is seeking a Science and Technology (S&T) Advisor to support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) mission partner at Fort Bragg, NC. This role serves at the nexus of advanced technology acquisition, capability development, and special operations force modernization.

The selected candidate will provide senior-level advisory support helping identify, assess, and integrate emerging technologies that enable Special Operations Forces (SOF) to maintain overmatch against near-peer competitors.

This position directly contributes to accelerating the fielding of transformational capabilities across SOCOM components, bridging the gap between the science and technology enterprise and operational SOF requirements.

This is not a conventional S&T liaison role. The selected candidate will operate at the intersection of:

  • SOF operational requirements and technology scouting
  • Acquisition strategy and resource management
  • Rapid capability development and transition to force

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex technology concepts into actionable acquisition and investment strategies that directly inform modernization decisions.

This position is in-person in North Carolina and requires an active Secret clearance.
