LMI seeks a Data Governance Analyst who will work on-site at the client organization located at Bolling AFB in Washington, DC.

Serve as a data governance subject matter expert in developing a comprehensive data governance strategy and implementation plan for the Mission Services Headquarters.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
TS/SCI with polygraph required.
Relevant certifications in Data Governance, such as Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or similar certifications.
Proven experience working in the field of Data Governance, Information Management, or a related area.
In-depth understanding of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and the ability to ensure compliance within an organization.
Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, metadata management, data classification, and data lifecycle management.
Ability to conduct risk assessments related to data and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Familiarity with data management tools and technologies.
Knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and data integration.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong documentation skills for creating policies, procedures, and reports.
Ability to analyze data governance requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
Awareness of legal and ethical considerations related to data, including issues of confidentiality, security, and data ownership.
Understanding of the industry or sector in which the organization operates, including specific data governance challenges and opportunities.
Target Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000
