Overview

LMI is a seeking a skilled Systems Integration (SI) / Configuration Management (CM) experts to support an Intelligence Community client.  This position is located in the Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

The SI SME will provide management support for the Customer’s acquisition programs throughout their acquisition lifecycles, from program inception (pre-acquisition to acquisition) to program award, system development, system deployment, operation, sustainment, modification, and disposal. You will be responsible for working inside a team to develop a myriad of deliverables to meet the Customer's Project Management needs, establishing and maintaining baselines, ensuring compliance of work by development contractors, and conducting a full range of activities including risk identification, configuration control, independent verification and validation testing, status reporting, and audits.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop pre-acquisiton and acquisition documentation
  • Estalish and maintain CM baselines: including functional baselines, allocated baselines, and product baselines
  • Work with the Customered preferred and specified tools to jointly manage product baselines and documentation developmenmt
  • Lead or support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Lead or support Risk, testing, and schedule processes
  • Lead or support Request For Change (RFC) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process
  • Conduct trade studies, failure analysis, and Red-team efforts for the Customer. 
  • Provide timely and accurate status reporting to program management and engineering teams
  •  

Qualifications

  • Must have Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
  • 8 years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree preferred; additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in performing configuration management and product lifecycle management
  • Experience in supporting CCB and ECP processes
  • Experience in using CM and/or PLM tools, i.e. CMPro
  • Preferred: Familiar with Government program acquisition process. 
  • Preferred: Familiar with acquisition life cycle framework and systems engineering life cycle framework within the Intelligence Community
  • Preferred: Certification in Configuration and Data Management (CDM)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent performer who can perform well in a collaborative, team environment
