The Product Designer will work with LMI’s Business Transformation Subservice Line and in collaboration with Forge™, LMI’s technology accelerator and innovation hub under the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to deeply understand customer problems and take on various roles to create solutions. This position will work with innovators, product managers, developers, other designers, and subject matter experts to create visions of solutions and bring those visions to life using a variety of design tools and approaches. The Product Designer will work closely with users to research and understand their problems, develop potential solutions, and clearly illustrate solutions to stakeholders and customers across the federal government. The fidelity of solutions will range from low-fidelity mock-ups to functional design prototypes and interactive models. The Product Designer will work with LMI employees and customers to test solution designs, solicit feedback, and transition viable solutions to larger-scale development teams.
